Dr. Shailaja Hiremath, Assistant Professor-HR of KLS IMER, Belagavi has successfully conducted a Staff Development Program (SDP) on the POSH Act, 2013 for the employees of Positron Engineering Corporation, Belagavi on 2 nd August 2023. Mr. Abhishek Parwatikar and Mr. Tauqeer Ahmed Jamadar, HR Specialization students from batch 2022-24 actively participated in SDP. Training programme covered all provisions of the Act, including Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal mechanisms. Formation of an Internal Complaints Committe, the timeline of the inquiry process, punishments and penalties were discussed at length. Educative Videos and Case-based learning was well-received by the participants. Dr. Arif Shaikh- Director, KLS IMER encouraged and supported the team for executing the SDP.
