Panel Discussion on Union Budget 2021-22
KLS IMER organized Panel Discussion on Union Budget 2021-22 on 18th Feb. 2021. The objective of Panel discussion was to familiarize the students about the union budget and discuss the important announcements made in the union budget for the financial year 21-22.
The panel included eminent resource people from the industry and academics. Students of KLS IMER were also part of the panel. The session was attended by faculty and more than 100 students of KLS IMER.
Dr. Atul Deshpande, Director KLS IMER, Mr. Alpesh Jain, CEO, Delta Enterprises and Mr. Tenzing Anto, CA, Partner Mahesh Tenzing & Co. were part of the panel. Students of 1st Sem MBA, Ketki Prabhu, Vinay Chougule, Asha Nevagi and Anupriya Bokade were also part of the panel. The panel discussion was moderated by Mr. Rahul Mailcontractor, Assistant Professor, KLS IMER.
Dr. Atul Deshpande, discussed on the economic aspects of the budget and his overall analysis of the budget. He spoke on overall tone and direction of the budget and also highlighted the missing pillars in the budget. Mr. Alpesh Jain gave a market perspective on the budget and shared his opinion on investment environment post budget.
Mr. Tenzing Anto spoke on taxation aspects of the budget and pointed out the beneficial, adverse and challenging provisions of the tax amendments in the budget. The student panelists spoke on each of the Six Pillars presented in the budget.
The Panel Discussion was coordinated by Dr. Sushant Joshi, Mr. Rahul Mailcontractor and Mr. Sumanth Desai.
