Outbound Training Programme – 2022
Outbound training is a recreational and experiential method of training program conducted on corporate professionals, Business Students, and leaders.
An Outbound Training (OBT) was conducted for the students for the third semester on March 23 and 24, 2022 at Starling River Resort, Dandeli. This OBT was aimed to impart and incorporate soft skills, improve time management skills, test physical abilities, and hone analytical and decision-making skills amongst the trainees to make them industry. 69 Students attended the training program and had a great excursion coupled with loads of learning in natural settings away from the classroom setting
Management Games on various aspects like Team working, Leadership, Time Management, Decision Making, communication skills were designed by Internal Faculty Coordinator Dr. Sanjay Deshpande and ably assisted by Coordinator Dr. Shailaja Hiremath , Prof Shreekant Naik, and Prof Deepa Saibannavar also helped the coordinators in administering the games meticulously with their contribution during the conduct of OBT. Sensitizing and creating awareness on the need to conserve, protect natural resources (Land, Water, rivers, mountains) and bio-diversity was also conducted during the OBT
We thank the Chairman, Governing Council, and Director of KLS, IMER for their support and encouragement in accomplishing this endeavour. We also thank the Chairman GC, Principal KLS VDRIT, Prof Anant Joshi, and Two Drivers both named Shivanand of Principal KLS VDRIT for providing us the much-needed logistics support to reach the venue with no hassles
A student committee of 6 members was also formed to assist in the successful execution of OBT, we appreciate their timeliness and efforts in this endeavor
