KLS IMER organized Amrit Kalash yatra on 12 th October, 2023 under the campaign 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' as culminating event of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

The campaign began with handover of Kalash and National Flag to the students by the Director Dr. Arif Shaikh and collecting Mitti/Rice from the students and staff members brought from their respective houses. “Panch Pran Pledge” was taken by students and staff by holding Mitti/Rice. Later The Amrit Kalash yatra was organized within the IMER campus. The campaign concluded with the "National Anthem". Shri. Sunil Kulkarni, Librarian, Shri. Amol Naik, Asstt. Librarian & Shri. George Rodrigues, Asstt. Physical Director Coordinated the Campaign. Later, Kalsh was handed over to Mr. Stutishlok Talawar, Nodal Officer, NSS Dept., Belagavi.
