HR CONNECT
The HR CONNECT event organised by KLS IMER, Belagavi on Saturday 17th February 2024, was met with resounding success, bringing together industry experts, educators, and students to discuss pressing issues and emerging trends in the HR domain. The event was conceptualised by DrShailaja Hiremath (Associate Professor HR).
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest DrUttamkumar M. Kinange (Kousali Institute of Management Studies,Karnatak University Dharwad). Dr. Arif Shaikh in his opening remarks highlighted the significance of connecting to HR fraternity. Prof. VishnukantChatpalli, Honourable Vice-Chancelor of Karnataka State Rural Developent Panchayat Raj, Gadag addressed the gathering online and gave best wishes for the success of the event.Shri R.S Mutalik, Chairman, Governing Council of IMER gave a presidential remarks and assured continued support for such events in the days to come. Ms. GoutamiMaganur, co convener of the event proposed the vote of thanks.

Ms. Girija Shetty ( Director - Human Resources, Vayavya Labs Pvt.Ltd, Belagavi) and Mr. Amit Soundalgekar ( Business Strategist & Facilitator) shed light on the importance of agility in HR practices to navigate the swiftly evolving business landscape. Their expertise provided attendees with practical strategies to address challenges and seize opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Mr. Girish Angadi( Founder and Director CONNECT Dharwad) and DrShailajaHiremath (Associate Professor HR) led a compelling discussion on strengthening collaboration between industries and academic institutions to enhance employability. Insights shared during this session aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry requirements, ultimately equipping students with the skills needed for success in the workforce.
Young Entrepreneurs Mr. Karan Javali (Founder & CEO Motocross India). and Mr. IndrajeetSidnal were also present.
