KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS IMER), Belagavi, launched the “Wellness 360 Series” program on Friday the 28th November 2025, an initiative aimed at fostering holistic health and well-being among management students and staff. The series will have 10 sessions by professional doctors from different specialties as curated by Dr. Sathe’s Aarogya Mitra Foundation, Belagavi.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and student representatives, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and wellness. The Director Dr. Arif Shaikh, in his introductory remark emphasized the growing need for emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being in today’s dynamic academic and professional environment.

Dr. Shailaja Hiremath, Associate Professor, introduced the purpose and vision of the Centre for Ethics and Social Responsibility and IQAC, highlighting the institution’s commitment to nurturing responsible, mindful, and resilient future leaders. Membership of the Centre was formally presented to new batch students Mr. Rohit Patil and Ms. Deepa Khatawkar.

The keynote address was delivered by the distinguished resource person, Dr. Varsha Rahul Sathe, Founder of Aarogya Mitra Foundation. With deep expertise in dentistry, nutrition, preventive healthcare, and wellness coaching, Dr. Sathe spoke on the importance of adopting a comprehensive, 360-degree approach to well-being. She encouraged students to integrate mindful practices into their personal and professional lives.

The event concluded with a Q&A session followed by a vote of thanks from Ms. Radhika Itigekar, appreciating the contributions of the resource person, the Director, faculty, organizing committee, and student participants.

The Wellness 360 Series marks another step in KLS IMER’s continuous efforts to promote value-based education and holistic development among its students.
