Review on Union Budget 2022-23

KLS IMER had organized a session on “Review on Union Budget 2022-23” on 23 rd February 2022 at its Auditorium. The objective of the session was to familiarize its students with the Union Budget and discuss the important announcements made in the union budget for the financial year 2022-23.The session was attended by faculty and more than 100 students of KLS IMER.

Dr. S G Chiniwar, Director KLS IMER, Mr. Veeranna Murgod CA and Dr Shrinivas Patil, Professor KLSIMER alongwith the students of 3 rd Semester MBA, Ketki Prabhu and Anupriya Bokade were part of the panel.

Dr. S G Chiniwar welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of the budget to the student community. The student panelists gave a bird’s eye view of the budget and set the tempo for further discussion. Dr Shrinivas Patil, Professor KLSIMER explained on government initiation managing the fiscal policy and its long term objectives of CAPEX and Atmanirbhar Bharat. Mr. Veeranna Murgod stressed on the need for understanding the budget from a holistic perspective with exemplary analogies and examples. He also explained the latest reforms made by the Government of India in GST procedures.
