An Alumni Interaction Session was conducted by Mr. Prabhudev Desai, Proprietor - Cubic Controls, from 2000-02 batch on 30 th May 2026 at KLS IMER.

Mr. Prabhudev Desai (Batch 2000–2002, Specialization: Sales & Marketing) interacted with students and shared his professional journey spanning over two decades. He began his career through campus placement at BPL India and subsequently gained valuable industry experience while working with reputed organizations such as Usha International, Jacksons Veneers and Panel Boards, and Schneider Electric India. During the session, he discussed the evolving job market, career opportunities in sales, marketing, engineering, and industrial sectors, and emphasized the importance of developing strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to enhance employability and career growth.

Drawing from his own experience, Mr. Desai explained how years of corporate exposure helped him build industry knowledge, professional networks, and leadership capabilities. After a successful career in the corporate sector, he ventured into entrepreneurship and established Cubic Controls, where he currently serves as Proprietor. He shared insights into his business model, which focuses on Energy Management Solutions, Industrial Automation, and Panel Building, addressing the growing needs of industries for efficient energy utilization and automation systems. He highlighted the challenges and opportunities involved in starting and managing a business and encouraged students to remain adaptable, continuously upgrade their skills, and consider entrepreneurship as a potential career path. The session was highly informative and motivating, providing students with practical industry perspectives and valuable career guidance.
