KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS IMER) had the privilege of hosting Mr. Sanjeev Bajaj, General Manager, Partnership and Marketing Department, National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), for an engaging session on "Careers Opportunities in Securities Markets." The programme was organized to create awareness among students about the diverse career opportunities in India's rapidly growing financial and capital markets ecosystem. With over 34 years of distinguished experience across industry and academia, Mr. Bajaj shared valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the securities market and highlighted the importance of acquiring professional certifications, industry-relevant skills, and financial literacy to build successful careers in investment management, mutual funds, research analysis, wealth management, and related domains.

Mr. Bajaj, who has been spearheading NISM's Partnership and Marketing initiatives since June 2022, also enlightened students about NISM's role as an educational initiative of SEBI in promoting investor education and capacity building. Drawing from his extensive experience in academic leadership and corporate relations, he encouraged students to leverage emerging opportunities in the financial sector through continuous learning and professional development. The session was highly interactive and well received by the students and faculty of KLS IMER, reaffirming the institution's commitment to bridging academia and industry through meaningful collaborations and providing students with exposure to contemporary trends and career pathways in the securities markets.
