KLS IMER, Belagavi, inaugurated its flagship intercollegiate management event SAMAGAM 2025 on 15th April with great enthusiasm and fervor.

The gathering was warmly welcomed by Director, Dr. Arif Shaikh, who set the tone for the two-day fest that aims to provide a platform for young minds to showcase their managerial talent.

The event was graced by Mr. Sharad Patil, Chief Business Developer at Whale Wearables, as the Chief Guest . A Shark tank winner and a passionate social entrepreneur, Mr. Patil expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Incubation Centre at KLS IMER, which played a vital role in shaping his entrepreneurial journey. With humility and sincerity, he shared his story of dedication, struggle, and eventual success, inspiring the audience with his message that perseverance and humility are the true keys to achieving one’s goals.

Presidential remarks were delivered by Shri Rajendra Belgaumkar, Member Governing Council, KLS IMER, Belagavi who emphasized the importance of imagination and the creative application of one's natural intelligence in an era increasingly driven by artificial intelligence. “Life is not static,” he reminded the audience, urging students to evolve continuously and think beyond boundaries.

This event is set to witness a vibrant line-up of events and competitions over two days where 18 teams from different undergraduate colleges from Karnataka and Maharashtra are participating . The fest is being coordinated by Prof. Goutami Maganur, Dr. George Rodrigues and Prof. Sunil Kulkarni, with active participation from faculty and students across various institutions.
