As part of their academic learning experience, students from the Marketing and HR specialisations at KLS IMER, accompanied by faculty members Dr. Sushil Kumar Pare and Dr. Praveen Kulkarni, recently undertook a rural visit to explore and understand various aspects of rural lifestyles. The visit aimed to give students practical exposure to how rural communities make buying decisions, interact with brands, and manage their daily lives across areas like education, media, occupation, and culture.

The students visited two villages—Amte and Gawase. The first stop was Amte, followed by a visit to Gokuldham Eco Village, an initiative by ISKCON. There, students observed sustainable living practices such as natural farming, traditional irrigation methods, and windmill-powered systems. They also went on a short trek through the scenic landscape and enjoyed a peaceful satvik lunch served by the community. The visit concluded with a study of Gawase village, where students continued their field observations.

Overall, the rural visit proved to be an enriching experience, offering students a valuable opportunity to connect their classroom concepts with real-life rural settings.
