KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS IMER), Belagavi, celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2026 on the auspicious occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at the KLS IMER Auditorium with great enthusiasm and reverence.

The programme witnessed the active participation of MBA students, teaching and non-teaching staff, reflecting the collective spirit of youth empowerment and national development inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.

The programme was graced by the presence of Director, Dr. Arif Shaikh, who emphasized the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts in shaping responsible, ethical, and self-reliant youth. He encouraged students to imbibe the values of discipline, service, and dedication in their personal and professional lives.

Dr. Ameet Kulkarni addressed the gathering and delivered an inspiring talk on the role of youth in nation-building. He highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s vision of youth as the backbone of the nation and motivated students to develop leadership qualities, confidence, and a sense of social responsibility.

The celebration served as a reminder of Swami Vivekananda’s powerful message to the youth—“Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached”—and reinforced KLS IMER’s commitment towards nurturing empowered and value-driven future leaders. The programme was coordinated by Prof. Rashmi Harti.
