NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION 2025”

KLS IMER celebrated National Youth Day on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, reflecting the institution's commitment on values of fearlessness, unity, and spirituality among students. The event was a well-organized with active participation from students and staff members.

The program commenced with an introductory address by Ms. Aishwarya Kolekar 1st Semester MBA student, who emphasized Swami Vivekananda's teachings on fearlessness, unity, and spirituality. This was followed by an engaging talk on "Role of Youth in Nation Building" by Mrs. Anjeli Pandit, Counsellor, KLS IMER. Her insights resonated with the audience, highlighting the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future of the nation.

Adding further depth to the celebration, Ms. Sakshi Mali and Ms. Sanskruti Shet, students of KLS IMER, shared their thoughts on Swami Vivekananda’s teachings on humanity and Rajya Yoga. Their perspectives provided valuable guidance to the students and inspired them to embrace these principles in their lives.

The event concluded with a floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda by the Director, Dr. Arif Shaikh, along with students and staff members, symbolizing deep respect for the spiritual leader’s legacy. The program culminated with the National Anthem, instilling a sense of patriotism and unity among the attendees.

The celebration, coordinated by Dr. George Rodrigues, Physical Education Director, and Mr. Sunil Kulkarni, Librarian, witnessed participation from over 100 students and staff members, reflecting the active engagement of the KLS IMER community.

The event was not only a tribute to Swami Vivekananda but also a meaningful platform to promote his teachings and values. It fostered knowledge, unity, and inspiration among the youth, making the celebration a truly enriching experience.
