KLS IMER organized a comprehensive Anti-Drug Awareness Programme today, in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in association with Tilakwadi Police Station, Belagavi.

Mr. Parshuram Pujari, Circle Police Inspector (CPI) from Tilakwadi Police Station, and PSI Vishwanath G were guest speakers. They delivered insightful talks on the dangers of drug abuse, its ill effects on individuals and society, and the importance of leading a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.

The MBA students actively participated in the programme and took an oath to stay away from drugs and promote a drug-free environment in their communities.

The programme aimed to educate students about the risks associated with drug abuse and encourage them to make informed choices. Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director IMER emphasized the need for collective efforts from individuals, families, and communities to prevent drug abuse and promote a healthy society.

The Event was coordinated by Dr. George Rodrigues along with student volunteer Miss Sakshi Tandolkar and Mr. Atul Kanbarkar.
