Workshop on Indian Knowledge System 2025

KLS IMER, Belagavi, organized a workshop on Indian Knowledge System for MBA 2nd semester students on 17th July 2025. The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director of KLS IMER, who highlighted the importance of integrating traditional knowledge with modern management education and appreciated the initiative in fostering cultural awareness among students. The resource person for the workshop was Mrs. Rutuja Kamat, Entrepreneur running Prunik HR Consultancy and Former faculty of the Department of Sociology at RPD College, Belagavi. She addressed the students on the richness and diversity of Indian knowledge systems, emphasizing their relevance in contemporary society and managerial practices. Her insightful session encouraged students to reflect on the applicability of indigenous wisdom in today’s dynamic business environment.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation and active engagement from students, contributing meaningfully to their understanding of India’s intellectual heritage.
The workshop was initiated and coordinated by Dr. George T. Rodrigues, Physical Education Director, KLS IMER, with the support of student coordinators, Radhika Itagikar and Giri Rattu.
