KLS IMER MBA Students Embark on Transformative Industrial and Cultural Visit to Gujarat and Rajasthan 2025











In a dynamic initiative to blend academic learning with real-world exposure, 56 MBA students from KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (IMER), Belagavi, undertook a seven-day industrial and cultural visit to Gujarat and Rajasthan. The visit was accompanied by faculty members Dr. Sushil Kumar Pare, Prof. Rashmi Y. Harti, Prof. Rahul Mailcontractor, and Mrs. Sushma Rawoot.
The visit commenced at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, where students explored the iconic Statue of Unity, its museum, zoological park, Valley of Flowers, and the Sardar Sarovar Dam—gaining insights into India’s infrastructural and ecological marvels.
In Ahmedabad, students toured the Amul Factory, witnessing firsthand the processing, packaging, and logistics of one of India’s most trusted dairy brands. The visit to the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) offered valuable understanding of government-led quality assurance mechanisms and innovations in India’s dairy sector.
The group also visited the majestic Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar and the Atal Foot Bridge on the Sabarmati Riverfront, appreciating the architectural brilliance and urban development of the region.
In Rajasthan, the itinerary included heritage sites such as the Hutheesing Jain Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake, and the regal City Palace of Udaipur—providing students with a rich cultural perspective and historical context.
