KLS IMER Organises Experiential Learning Sessions on Creative Problem Solving and Lean Management
KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS IMER), Belagavi, organised two engaging experiential learning sessions for IV Semester students on 17 July 2026. The sessions included a Workshop on Applications of Lean Management Tools, facilitated by Ms. Durga Deshmukh-Jagtap, and a Poster Presentation Contest on Creative Problem Solving using Fishbone Diagram, facilitated by Mr. Premkumar Neeralgimath.
The initiatives provided students with hands-on exposure to Lean Management concepts, problem-solving techniques and the practical application of analytical tools. The poster presentation encouraged students to creatively analyse problems and identify their root causes using the Fishbone Diagram.
The events were coordinated by Dr. Shailaja Hiremath and Dr. Sumanth Desai. Ms. Aadhya Bhat, Mr. Giri Rattu and Ms. Sanskruti Shet anchored the sessions. Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director, KLS IMER, welcomed the gathering and appreciated the initiative for creating meaningful opportunities for students to connect classroom learning with practical applications.
