An Alumni Interaction Session was conducted by Ms. Ketaki Khemalapure, Retail Jewellery Consultant & Corporate Trainer from 2015-17 batch on 6 th December 2025 at KLS IMER.

Ms. Ketaki Khemalapure, completed her MBA & is a graduate in Diamond from Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She has over 12 years of experience in gem & jewellery industry and has helped in setting up large, medium & small retail stores in Karnataka, Maharashtra & Chennai. She has expertise in GST, hallmarking, e- invoice, automation, family business dynamics, jewellery investment advisory, online retail optimization, market research, sourcing & supply chain management, brand development, marketing events & exhibition, jewellery portfolio management. She is a speaker at exhibitions, educational institutions, associations, and is a freelance corporate trainer & consultant. Apart from this she is professional hiker and trekker

Ms. Ketaki Khemalapure, delivered an inspiring session for the students, where she spoke on her personal journey and navigating various challenges she faced as a young entrepreneur. Having to enter her business at a young age was both a challenge and a defining adventure. As a young female entrepreneur, she often had to prove herself in spaces where experience and age were expected, yet each obstacle strengthened her confidence and vision. Through hands-on learning, creativity, and resilience, she grew not just as a business owner but as a leader determined to shape the future of her family craft.

She answered many questions form the students on having to balance various roles as an entrepreneur, corporate trainer & consultant, family responsibilities and being a professional hiker and trekker.
