An Alumni Interaction Session was conducted Mr. Nilesh Pawar, Zonal Head, Zomato, Karnataka, from 2016-18 batch on 27th April 2024 at KLS IMER. Students of 1st and 3rd Semester attended the session. The topic of his session was " Online Ordering Universe " He spoke on various aspects of online food ordering business like onboarding of restaurants on the platform, managing customers, managing the delivery fleet, revenue model, marketing strategies etc. He took many questions from the students on discount offers of Zomato, dealing with competition from Swiggy etc. His also spoke on the skills required for students to work for Zomato. The session was coordinated by Mr. Rahul Mailcontractor under the guidance of Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director, KLS IMER.
