Academic and Administrative Audit at KLS IMER - 12th July 2024
As part of its ongoing quality enhancement initiatives, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of KLS IMER conducted an Academic and Administrative Audit on 12th July 2024. The audit aimed to assess the effectiveness of systems and processes in place and identify areas for improvement to align with the institute’s quality goals.
The audit was led by Prof. S. V. Hiremath, External Academic Peer Member of IQAC, Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director and IQAC Chairman and Dr. Shailaja Hiremath, IQAC Coordinator. They guided the teams through a comprehensive review of the institution’s processes. All teams responsible for the seven NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) criteria presented documents pertaining to the academic and administrative performance for the academic year 2023-24.
The audit focused on examining the quality of documentation, teaching-learning processes, research outputs, infrastructure, and governance mechanisms. The review offered constructive feedback to strengthen existing practices and highlighted specific areas for improvement, helping KLS IMER align with best practices in higher education and meet the requirements of NAAC accreditation standards effectively.
