The KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (Autonomous), Belagavi, organized AARAMBH, the Orientation Programme to welcome the new batch of MBA students (2025–2027), marking the beginning of their academic and professional journey in management education.

The programme began with a Welcome Address by Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director, KLS IMER, who congratulated the new students and encouraged them to make full use of the institute’s academic learning environment, faculty guidance, industry exposure, and mentoring support. He emphasized IMER’s commitment to developing responsible, skilled, and industry-ready management professionals.

The Chief Guest for the function was Mr. Umesh Belludi, CEO, BrainTree HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd., a global HR consulting enterprise with offices in Bengaluru and the United States. A proud alumnus of KLS IMER (Batch of 1996), he shared his journey of building a successful international consulting organization.

In his keynote address, Mr. Belludi highlighted Five Key Dimensions for Success for aspiring managers:

-Networking and Professional Relationship Building

-Being Technology Savvy

He advised students to “invest in themselves every day” and remain proactive in learning, participating and engaging with opportunities that enhance professional growth.

The event was presided over by Shri. Uday Kalkundrikar, Chairman, Governing Council, KLS IMER. In his presidential address, he stressed the importance of holistic development, stating that along with academic excellence, sports, hobbies, and physical fitness play a vital role in shaping confident, balanced, and future-ready management graduates.

The programme was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Rahul Mailcontractor and Asst. Prof. Goutami Maganur, with assistance from senior student volunteers who ensured smooth conduct of the event.
