KLS IMER has organized Aarambh –The Orientation Programme for its Autonomous MBA batch 2024-26 from 12 th to 14 th December, 2024. The objective of Aarambh-2024 -26 is to orient the students about the prerequisites to be successful in the world of business and entrepreneurship. The sessions are being conducted by eminent people from industry and academia.

Aarambh 2024-2026 marked a significant day in the institution’s journey. Shri R. S. Mutalik, Chairman of the Governing Council, presided over the event and, in his presidential remarks, reflected on the rich heritage of Karnataka Law Society and KLS IMER. He assured the gathering of the institute's unwavering dedication to nurturing students and contributing to their overall development.

Dr. Mukund Udchankar, Director of Administration at KLE Homoeopathic Medical College, was the Chief Guest. In his insightful address, Dr. Udchankar emphasized the importance of developing a positive attitude as the cornerstone of personal and professional success. He also stressed that children mirror their parents’ actions, urging parents to be mindful of their behavior as it profoundly influences their children’s values and decisions.

Adding to the occasion were the Guests of Honour, Shri Md. Rafique Chaus, General Manager - Finance at Godavari Bio Refineries Ltd., and Shri Sandeep Tekriwal, Proprietor of iNNOVV8, both distinguished alumni of KLS IMER. They motivated the students to develop essential skills to thrive in an ever-evolving business environment.

The event commenced with an engaging welcome speech by Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director of KLS IMER. In his address, Dr. Arif Shaikh warmly welcomed the dignitaries, parents, students, and faculty members, expressing gratitude for their presence. He highlighted the institution's steadfast commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and the holistic development of students. Dr. Arif Shaikh underscored the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry by fostering partnerships, which was exemplified by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BSNL during the event.

A major highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KLS IMER and BSNL, marking a significant milestone for the institution. This collaboration aims to provide students with cutting-edge resources and industry-relevant insights, preparing them to excel in a rapidly evolving professional world. Shri Vikas Jaykar, President of BSNL, along with other officials, attended the event to formalize this meaningful partnership.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Rashmi Y Harti, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty members, students, and parents for making the event a grand success.
