General Rules & Regulations
- Students from any discipline are welcome (those who are currently pursuing their graduation)
- Each team should consist of 13 participants. Those who participate in one event cannot participate in the other since all events will go on simultaneously, (except for Ice Breaker and Cultural.)
- For ICE BREAKER ALL MUST PARTICIPATE.
- For SAMSKRUTI, Minimum 6 and Maximum 8 from the same team must participate.
- Participation in ALL events is compulsory to compete for the General Championship.
- An institute can send a maximum of two teams, (from each discipline).
- The registration fee per team is Rs.2500/- (without accommodation) and Rs.4500/- (with accommodation). Registration fee may be paid in cash or DD (in the name of Director, KLS IMER, payable at Belagavi).
- Last date for registration is 13/02/2020.
- Students are requested to carry their college ID when they come for the event.
- Each team will be given a code name in order to ensure transparency and fairness. Kindly use team codes for all events.
- All activities must be played in the true spirit; decorum and decency must be maintained.

- Kindly inform us well in advance about your travel arrangements. It will help us organize the pickup.
- Outstation teams who want accommodation may please let us know at the time of registration itself. (Registration fee for those who want accommodation is Rs.4500/-)
- It may be noted that accommodation for males and females will be at different venues.
- Teams will be picked up from and dropped to the nearest bus stop or the Central Bus Stand.

SAMAARAMBH (Ice - Breaker)

India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world and boasts of many ethnic groups following different cultures and religions. Being a diverse civilization, India is a land of myriad tongue with over 1650 spoken languages and dialects. Despite different cultures, religions and languages, people of India live together with love and brotherhood. The immense unity in diversity makes India an example of cultural brotherhood. Each and every region of the country from Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari portrays different customs and traditions. Unity in Diversity is distinctive feature of this beautiful nation and binds people together in the bond of humanity and peace.
THEME: The theme for the ice breaker is "Unity in Diversity". A combination of speech and song can be used in the Nukkad natak (Street play), based on this theme.
RULES & REGULATIONS:
- Participation in this round is mandatory. The entire team must participate in this round.
- The scores of this round will be taken into account for the General Championship.
- The allotted time per team will be 5+1 minutes.
- Teams can use English/ Hindi /Kannada for the skit.
- Marks will be allotted for creativity, humor, clarity of message, costume and team work. Vulgarity or obscenity in portrayal or in speech is strictly discouraged.
- Kindly carry your own props/costumes etc.
- Students are required to use the team code allotted to them.
- Decision of Judges will be final.

SAMPOORNA- The Best Manager
You have to be odd to be number one...
Rules and Regulations: No. of participants: 1
- Hard copy of preliminary assignments should be submitted at the time of registration. The assignment will be communicated to the participant as soon as the team registers.
- Participants for the Best Manager will be required to stay at the venue itself after registration till the event is over. Our team will make proper/safe arrangements for all participants so even female participants can be comfortable.
- The person participating in Best Manager cannot participate in other events except Ice Breaker.
- Participants have to carry laptop and other necessary things like Pen Drives, Dongles, Data Cables, etc. Please carry an updated CV. Please carry an extra pair of clothes.
- Every participant should have a valid E-mail id for further communication.

SAMSHODH (Treasure Hunt)

Rules and Regulations: No. of participants: 1
- The participants for Treasure hunt should not participate in any other event (except in ice breaker and cultural).
- All the participants should report 15 minutes before the beginning of each round.
- Any kind of misbehavior and argument is not acceptable and will lead to disqualification.
- Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and footwear, and carry smart phones with an internet pack.
- Participants are requested to listen and understand all the instructions carefully before the beginning of the rounds. Ask questions if you do not understand.

SAMSKRUTI - the cultural extravaganza

Everyone aspires to be a fashionista so here we give you an opportunity at Samagam 2020 to dress in your best outfits with the theme of "fictional characters" and awe the spectators with your stunning new ideas along with a social message.
Minimum 6 and Maximum 8 from the same team must participate.
- 1. Time limit: 3 + 1min
- 2. The required level of decency and decorum should be maintained in costumes and actions.
- 3. Props can be used. Teams should bring their own props
- 4. Judges decision will be final
- 5. Please submit the background score (music) for your performance at the time of registration to the organisers.

"Let's socialize the innovation."
Rules and Regulations: -
ROUND 1
- All the team members should be present in the picture.
- The picture should be based on the theme "Indhradhanush–colours of Incredible India". The picture should be shot outdoors.
- Send us your picture. We will upload your picture on the Samagam2020 Facebook page and send you the link.
- Share the picture with your friends/family/professors or anyone you can find online and gather the maximum amount of Traffic for your short film.
- Ask them to like the Samagam page and the picture.
- The picture with the highest Likes, will be declared the winner. Boosting will lead to disqualification.
ROUND 2
- The Pictures should be based on the theme Incredible Belgaum & should be submit latest by 5:00pm on day 1. (19th Feb. 2020)
- All the team members should be present in atleast one of picture day 1..
- Submit ten of your best clicks to the event organizers.
- Pictures will be posted on official SAMAGAM-2020 (FACEBOOK PAGE).
- 5. An expert panel will judge the entries.
ROUND 3
Glimpses of Samagam 2020
- Each team should capture the video of Samagam day 1 [happenings/moments] of Samagam 2020.
- The video should be edited with best moments of Samagam 2020. The video should not exceed 1 minute.
- An expert panel will judge the entries.
NOTE: - The picture captured should be Tagged with Date & Time.
