On 21st June 2016, this occasion was celebrated by organizing a one hour Yoga Practice session to mark the international event for the staff and students.
Considering the rise in the cases of various stress related health issues leading to diabetes, hypertension, etc., it becomes very important to manage the stress levels through regular practice of YOGA. This event was organized to create awareness about the same and expose them to the world of YOGA.
Different types of exercises, asanas, pranayama, and meditation were practiced along with discussion on health related issues.
The session was organized under the supervision of Director Dr. Purushottam Bung. Dr. Poornima Charantimath and Shri. Sunil N. Kulkarni were the resource persons.
